Aquastar – Saving Money and Transforming Service
With fixed network meter reading, the Town of Cary receives hourly water meter readings. Beyond saving money in labor to walk by every meter, the Town has transformed customer service for the water utility. Customers can see their usage on a web portal and subscribe to text or email alerts when their usage exceeds their expectations. The Town goes a step further and mines the data to look for unusually high usage and proactively reaches out to partner with their customers to prevent unexpected high utility bills.
