EnviroAtlas: A Tool for Accessing, Viewing, and Analyzing Diverse Information for Better Decisions

Wednesday, March 23, 2016
3:45 pm   -   4:30 pm

This session will feature EnviroAtlas, a web-based application with geospatial data, analytical tools, and interpretive information on ecosystem goods and services. These ecosystem services, or benefits we receive from nature, include the food we eat, clean water, increased security and protection, inputs into our economy, and improvements to overall human health and well-being. EnviroAtlas is unique because it takes a wealth of complex GIS data and uses various communications tools and software to make these data readily available and understandable for a range of audiences, including researchers, educators, analysts, and decision-makers.
