Craig A. Hill, Senior Vice President of RTI International’s Survey, Computing, and Statistical Sciences unit, has more than 30 years of experience in social science research; during that time, he has directed research projects– both large and small–for a wide variety of federal, academic, and commercial clients. Dr. Hill earned his PhD in quantitative methods from the University of New Orleans and has published and presented more than 50 papers, on topics as diverse as hospital ranking methodology, health care delivery and access, survey interviewer fraud, and new technology for social science research. H e is an author and co-editor of the recent book, “Social Media, Sociality, and Survey Research (2013).” In his current role, Dr. Hill sets vision and strategy for a business unit comprised of the Survey Research Division, the Division for Research Services, the Research Computing Division, and the Division for Statistical and Data Sciences. He has direct management authority and responsibility for a portfolio of more than 150 studies and more than 500 professional staff.
