Joseph Coniker is a Principal at Grant Thornton LLP and national practice leader for Business Analytics. He has over 22 years of experience, specializing on big data modernization, visualization, and data governance across industries with a focus on Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Financial Services.  Coniker is a graduate from New York University and Harvard Business School.

Projects that Coniker influenced have accumulated in over $1 billion in working capital improvements. Profit improvement implementations included: Accounts receivable collection, reducing days sales outstanding; Vendor payment management; Inventory optimization; Cost allocations by product, customer and location; Sales territory alignment; Human resource analytics; Claims and payer exception reporting; Compliance, Fraud investigation.

He is a published author on data analytics matters, and frequent speaker at regional and national events, including Oracle Open World, and guest speaker at the doctoral program on technology and warehousing at Robert Morris University, and big data for accounting solutions at University of Richmond.

His current focus leverages prior experience, and big data information discovery capabilities to enable business teams to quickly discover insight using their data. Coniker has taken a tried and true approach to analytics that leverages proven principles and that enable new and ever changing technologies to advance to the cloud in secure stages.
